Position Precis:

We have opportunities available for 3-4 full time family physicians to join our FHO and become part of the Owen Sound Family Health Organization.

This is a great opportunity for a physician to join the Owen Sound Family Health Organization. We have a full complement of Allied Health professionals including social workers, dieticians, pharmacist, nurse practitioners, occupational therapist, respiratory therapist and nurses.

We have a beautiful facility located on the water in Owen Sound that also houses diagnostic imaging for plain films and ultrasound, pharmacy, dental, physiotherapy and oxygen therapy as well as a wonderful European bakery.

We have a well-equipped clinic along with procedural rooms that would be available turnkey to any new associate.

As well as office based care, opportunity exists in Owen Sound for obstetrics, inpatient care, surgical assist, emergency, palliative care (our new hospice Chapman House

We have active programs for chronic disease management which helps immensely in patient management. There are also teaching opportunities available.

Depending on the size of the patient roster, annual income can be $350,000 to $400,000.

We are an active site for the 2 year family practice residency at McMaster and also active
with students from other universities as well.
